In keeping up with the true spirit of humanity and contribution towards Corporate Social Responsibility Spice Telecom in association with the Blood Bank Society today organized a ‘Blood Donation Camp' at the Spice Head Office at Mohali on the eve of World Blood Donor Day, a special day dedicated to celebrating voluntary non-remunerated blood donation. The occasion was marked with lot of enthusiasm as Spice employees came forward to donate blood expressing their belief in the values of life and the readiness to contribute to the society's welfare in all possible ways. A team of well-qualified doctors, along with volunteers coordinated the event.
The blood donation camp was organized in coordination with The Blood Bank Society, an organization run by volunteers of repute from diverse fields who selflessly encourage people to participate & donate blood, the most valuable fluid. The occasion was marked by surprise gifts, movie tickets, along with Donor card for participants. The donors were also provided with refreshments. World Blood Donor Day provides an opportunity to highlight the fact that voluntary non-remunerated blood donors are the foundation of a safe blood supply.
